The Client Our client is leading global manufacturing/distribution company and a trusted partner to architects, designers, distributors, fabricators and builders throughout Australia with around 5,000 staff. They have built a solid reputation for product reliability and impeccable customer service. As this highly recognised global brand continues to grow year on year, they are now looking to strengthen their customer service team with another engaging and committed Customer Service Officer.
Purpose of the role Created due to growth, this varied role will keep you busy, working within a friendly & highly supportive team.
The role is to focus and deliver the best customer service experience enabling Customer Service to become FIRST in the eyes of the customer and within our clients company:~
Assist callers in identifying needs and provide appropriate solutions
Outbound phones calls and emails required to verify customer information
Build rapport with new and enhance the relationship with existing customers
Receive and process orders into SAP, manage backorders and exceptions
Contribute to development of customer relationships through proactive customer communication related to order management e.g., product availability, order status and delivery tracking
Provide assistance to colleagues when required
Report process and procedure problems to constantly challenge and improve customer satisfaction
Continually monitor order and sales volumes to determine efficient resource allocation and adjust accordingly so that “Best Customer Experience” commitments are met
Establish a strong relationship with Sales, Warehouse and Operations to ensure seamless processes that ensures a smooth and hassle-free experience for the customer
Ensure you conduct business in line with applicable laws and regulations, as well as with global and local policies and procedures and the companies code of conduct

Proven track record in customer service
An outgoing, bright and vibrant personality where you are comfortable engaging with our customers both internal and external
Exceptional professional interpersonal and written communication skills
Confident multi-tasker and have a committed approach to customer satisfaction
High level of professional integrity
Sap experience with a high level of data entry accuracy
Ability to communicate at all levels of the business
A Thirst for knowledge
Minimum of 2 years experience in invoicing and administration experience
Excellent customer service skills;
CRM, ServiceMax and SAP experience is desirable;
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel);
Enjoys a challenge and variety in daily tasks, has the ability to calmly resolve issues.
